Today, Piedmont Plastics is currently hiring for an ADC Warehouse Associate for our Scarborough, Ontario location!
In this position you will be required to:
- Reviews ADC sales orders and schedules the orders to be picked, packed, and shipped
- Ensures orders are processed in the proper sequence, based on due dates and method of shipment, to meet branch or customer expectations
- Physically receives (counts and inspects) ADC inventory, verifies manufacturers packing slips, and matches them to company purchase orders
- Weighs, measures, and/or counts materials to ensure conformance to company quality standards
- Enters received inventory into computer system, electronically scans documents, and files documents into appropriate folder
- Transports receiving documents to person responsible for branch administration at the end of each day
- Transfers materials and items from receiving to ADC storage racks or to other designated areas
- Pulls material from ADC inventory and packages it on pallets for shipment
- May be required to use computer or bar code scanner to enter records, track material, and control inventory
- Maintains required quality documentation, such as certificates of conformance for received shipments
- Responsible for general warehouse housekeeping within ADC area and maintaining safe work area and habits, such as lock-out/tag-out

Qualifications
- At least one year of experience working in a warehouse environment
- Minimum of one year experience driving a forklift
- A high school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to a maximum of 100 pounds
- A stable work history of at least 9 months
- Experience using a computer
- A positive attitude and are a team player
