Position Summary RSI is recruiting for an Acquisition Planner who will be responsible for coordinating, collaborating, and developing/writing subcontracting documents to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, applicable federal requirements, and work planning needs. This position serves as the key liaison among project managers (including site leads, and Control Account Managers), technical teams, program management office (PMO) and acquisition services personnel to ensure acquisition strategies and contract actions effectively support organizational priorities and successful outcomes. Job Title: Acquisition Planner Location(s): Grand Junction, CO Status: Full-Time FLSA: Exempt Hiring Range: $68,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year. (The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.) This position is required to travel 15% or more of the time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Write clear and concise subcontracting documents to include accurate scope statements and requirements, terms, and pricing structures. Ensure all subcontracting documents follow statutory and agency-specific guidelines and adhere to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Department of Energy Acquisition Regulation (DEAR). Ensure subcontracting documents adhere to local, state, and federal requirements, including safety regulations (such as OSHA), and labor laws. Participate in programmatic working groups and Community of Practices (CoP) to share knowledge, identify trends, establish resolutions, improve training content and refine the program’s subcontracting capabilities. Participate in acquisition or procurement document and process reviews and revisions. Contribute to training content for subcontracting processes, management, and closeout. Other duties as assigned. Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience Bachelor’s degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, finance, or related discipline. Experience in lieu of education considered. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience supporting environmental or construction contracts. Licenses and Certifications Valid Driver’s License Required Skills and Abilities Strong analytical capabilities, verbal and written communication, technical writing and working among multi-disciplinary and cross-functional project teams. Strong workload management skills, prioritizing assignments, identifying and communicating scheduling conflicts. Able to identify workflow process inefficiencies, formulate improvement opportunities, and contribute to and follow through implementing improvements to optimize workflow processes.
