Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections to ensure timely cash flow. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, verifying shipments against orders and documentation. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems like AS400 to track inventory levels, process stock movements, and update records accurately. Prepare and process shipping labels, packaging orders efficiently for delivery while adhering to trade compliance and international trade regulations when applicable. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load/unload trucks and facilitate order fulfillment. Conduct data entry tasks related to inventory management software, order processing, and shipment tracking with precision. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize warehouse distribution strategies and ensure compliance with safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries related to shipments, orders, or account status promptly and professionally. Skills Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems (such as AS400), and inventory management software. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and warehouse operations. Experience with inventory management techniques including stocking, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely. Basic math skills for calculating quantities, weights, measurements, and invoice totals accurately. Excellent data entry skills ensuring precise record keeping of shipments and financial transactions. Customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and problem resolution in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with international trade regulations and trade compliance standards is a plus.
