Accounts Payable & Procurement Specialist

About Us: We are a manufacturing company working with raw materials that experience frequent price fluctuations. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to take ownership of procurement, inventory organization, and accounts payable while helping improve cost control and system accuracy. Position Overview: This role is responsible for managing purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory systems, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will play a key role in organizing and maintaining accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), improving inventory processes, and supporting efficient purchasing decisions in a dynamic pricing environment. Key Responsibilities: Procure raw materials and manage vendor relationships Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers Monitor fluctuating material costs and adjust purchasing decisions Organize and maintain inventory management systems Create, review, and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) Ensure alignment between inventory records and accounting systems Process accounts payable, including invoice verification and reconciliation Collaborate with operations and finance teams Identify and support improvements in inventory control and reporting Qualifications: Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, supply chain, and/or accounts payable Strong understanding of inventory systems and basic accounting principles Manufacturing experience preferred Ability to manage fluctuating pricing and make sound purchasing decisions Strong negotiation and vendor management skills Highly organized with strong attention to detail Professional, reliable, and a fast learner Experience with Zoho systems is a plus What We’re Looking For: Someone who can bring structure and clarity to inventory and BOM processes A dependable, proactive team member Strong communicator who works well across departments Why Join Us: Competitive hourly pay based on experience Stable, growing company Opportunity to improve systems and make a meaningful impact Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): 1.
