Accounting, Invoicing & Shipping Coordinator Cutting Edge Tools (CET) is a Brantford-based manufacturing company looking for an experienced, organized and dependable Accounting, Invoicing & Shipping Coordinator . This is a hands-on position combining accounting and bookkeeping administration with customer invoicing, shipping, receiving, inventory administration and general office responsibilities. The position will initially be approximately 32 hours per week while CET transitions to a new ERP system and completes related accounting and administrative work. The position is initially being offered on a contract basis , with the potential to develop into a long-term role based on CET's ongoing staffing requirements and the successful candidate's performance . Work Schedule Monday to Thursday: On-site at our Brantford facility Friday: Work from home Initially approximately 32 hours per week Hours may evolve as the ERP transition is completed and business requirements change Contract position with potential for a long-term opportunity $26.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience Accounting & Bookkeeping Responsibilities Accounts payable and accounts receivable Enter and process supplier invoices Prepare and process customer invoices Track customer payments and outstanding receivables Maintain accurate accounting records Assist with bank and account reconciliations Assist with the transition to CET's new ERP system Assist in establishing accurate opening balances and financial records for the ERP system Assist with preparation of financial information and financial statements Maintain accurate accounting records within the ERP system Organize financial and supporting documentation Work with management and outside accounting professionals as required Invoicing, Shipping & Receiving Responsibilities Prepare customer invoices, packing slips and shipping documentation Coordinate outgoing customer shipments Book courier and freight shipments Prepare documentation for Canadian, U.S. and international shipments Prepare commercial invoices and customs documentation where required Receive incoming materials and supplier shipments Verify incoming quantities against purchase orders and packing slips Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records Communicate with customers, suppliers, couriers and freight companies Assist with inventory records and inventory counts Maintain accurate inventory, shipping and receiving transactions within the company's ERP system Qualifications Previous bookkeeping, accounting or accounting-administration experience Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable Strong Microsoft Excel and general computer skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities Comfortable learning and working with ERP and accounting systems Strong written and verbal communication skills The Following Would Be an Asset Experience working in a manufacturing environment Shipping and receiving experience Customer invoicing experience International shipping and customs documentation experience Inventory management experience Experience implementing or transitioning to a new ERP or accounting system Experience establishing opening balances in a new accounting system Experience assisting with financial statement preparation and year-end accounting Who We're Looking For This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied role in a small manufacturing business and is comfortable moving between accounting, customer invoicing, shipping and administrative responsibilities.
