THE ROLE

As an Account Manager (Farmer), you will own and grow an existing book of shipper relationships. You will sit on the customer-facing side of the operation, working in close coordination with a carrier management team to solve capacity problems, negotiate the best rates, and deliver for customers who count on you.

This role is on-site in Cabot, Arkansas, and that is intentional. A lot of what makes this place tick is team energy. You will feel it when you walk in. Hunters and farmers work together, not in silos, and being in the building matters.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Managing and growing a provided book of shipper accounts while ramping your own relationships
  • Working alongside carrier managers to identify capacity, improve lanes, and maximize margins
  • Negotiating contract and spot market pricing to drive profitability

  • Acting as the lead point of contact for your accounts: proactive,

    responsive, accountable
  • Ensuring timely and successful deliveries in line with customer expectations
  • Participating in on-site customer visits with the Director of Sales

  • Covering loads when needed and sharing after-hours on-call rotation

    with the team
  • Staying sharp through industry coursework, trade publications, and internal development

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Someone steady. Someone who builds trust with customers, does not overpromise, and follows through. Someone competitive enough to chase their individual goals but team-minded enough to celebrate when the whole office hits its number.

  • 3+ years of freight brokerage or transportation industry experience in a 

    sales-oriented role
  • 2+ years of brokerage experience preferred

  • Existing book of business: does not need to be large, but something to help you hit the ground running

  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-management

    skills
  • Knowledge of truckload pricing and freight market dynamics

  • TMS experience a plus

  • CTB certification preferred (the cost is covered if you do not have it yet)

  • Solution-oriented mindset: you look for ways to fix problems, not just

    flag them

Note: Non-competes will be discussed early in the process.

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $45,000 to $60,000 DOE.
  • Commission: Uncapped. Bringing a book of business? You will earn commission on it while you ramp.
