Abandoned Property Warehouse, Senior Coordinator- Essential Onsite
Capital OneJob Description Capital One Enterprise Abandoned Property Operations is seeking a self-motivated individual with organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in an open and collaborative team environment. This Senior Operations Production Coordinator role on the Abandoned Tangible Property team is responsible for process execution related to unclaimed property laws and the maintenance of the Abandoned Property warehouse. The ideal candidate for this role will display the ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment while displaying sound judgment in decision making. This position is an essential on site role in the Knolls 2 office in Richmond, VA. On site attendance is required 3-5 business days per week, as determined by business needs, with work from home on remaining business days. As an essential onsite position, we reserve the right to change these requirements at any time to meet evolving business needs. Operating hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday- Friday. General Responsibilities: Execute team’s warehouse maintenance responsibilities, including: Validate and enter data from incoming Chain of Custody logs and Affidavits for tangible property from safe deposit boxes Inventory management, including moving and storing warehouse contents, and cataloging location in system of record Engage in special projects and perform ad hoc customer fulfillments, staging, preparation for shipping, and shipping contents to states per regulatory requirements Data entry and management: work with multiple data management applications; maintain current data (i.e. update regularly); assist with regular data audits; maintain high level of data integrity Complete monthly quality control evaluations of warehouse Tamper Evident Bags Conduct inspections of warehouse equipment monthly. Maintain a clean and orderly working environment, clean up debris as needed; keep items in their designated storage locations. Contribute to workplace safety, including wearing safety equipment as needed (e.g. gloves, masks) Demonstrate solid behaviors and competencies aligned with Capital One’s high performance expectations, including: Make effective independent decisions, when necessary Influence positive behaviors and integrative thinking Work with management to identify process improvements and communicate effectively Cross training on different functions within the team Identify and communicate incorrect information on paperwork with internal partners Maintain and update team job aids and process documentation A Successful Candidate will: Utilize effective oral and written communication skills Possess the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment Collaborate in a team environment Be an independent and self motivated worker Utilize strong organizational and time management skills Experience with Extra, E4A, FSITrack Location: This role is an essential position and requires on site attendance Essential Functions: Able to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience or certification At least 3 years of customer service or call center experience At least 1 year experience working in the Financial Industry At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office At least 1 year of data entry experience Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years Google Suite or Microsoft Office Suite experience At least 2 years of data entry experience At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
