Job Description Operate and maintain all conveying systems and ship all bagged product as related to the warehouse. Job Duties Operate and perform minor maintenance on all warehouse equipment. Responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks including filling out all SA logs. Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Moves material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, according to predetermined sequence such as size, type ,style, color or product code. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and occasionally lift up to 100lbs with assistance. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys order to packing station or holding area. Opens bales, crates, boxes and other material. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed and knowledge of any paperwork on this matter. Weights or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. Knowledge of computer to enter records. Ability to drive forklift to transport material and pallets of rice to truck for delivery to customer. Completes all paperwork including truck loading, sanitation, HACCP, quality and inventory document s. Assists in counting physical inventory. Maintains inventory records. Responsible for complying with all safety rules and procedures set forth by the company. Safety sensitive position Education Requirements High school diploma or GED plus specialized training and/or additional college courses and two years of related experience and/or training; and a minimum of 1-6 months of experience preferred.
