 We are seeking a responsible, hard-working, and dependable Warehouse Support Specialist to join our production team. In this role, you will be a vital link in our supply chain, ensuring all incoming and outgoing products are scanned and tracked accurately according to company guidelines.


The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe workspace. You will be responsible for maximizing storage space, managing warehouse waste, and ensuring our safety standards are met every single day.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operational Support: Serve as the primary backup for the Production Material Handler during breaks, vacations, or absences.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Assist with day-to-day activities including shrink wrapping, banding, and placing skids into designated rack locations.
  • Production Readiness: Build skids required for daily production across all three shifts.
  • Accuracy: Perform daily cycle counting as directed to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Inbound Coordination: Assist Material Handlers by moving items (resin, boxes, and miscellaneous supplies) from the dock into inventory.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Regularly remove warehouse trash, empty cardboard/waste bins, and maintain 5S housekeeping standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify ways to maximize storage and notify management of any damaged products or racks.
  • Safety & Culture: Maintain a safe environment by adhering to all regulations and promoting a positive, efficient, and collaborative team atmosphere.


Requirements

 

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment (or a suitable combination of education and experience).
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification: Must be Forklift Certified.
  • Technical Skills: * Proficiency with Barcode Scanners.  
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
    • ERP/MRP experience is preferred.
  • Core Competencies: Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective written/verbal communication.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Environment: The work environment has a moderate noise level.
  • Safety Requirements: Steel-toe or closed-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection are required at all times on the production floor.
