Job Summary:

  

Support various departments in making sure shipments, receiving, and inventory are handled in a timely and efficient manner.

  

The right candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Must be organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with warehouse operations and material handling equipment
  • Forklift  experience highly desired, but not required (we will train)
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Excellent communication & training skills
  • Shall perform all duties in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001
  • Able to read and understand detailed instructions and procedures
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), experience with IQMS a plus

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible to move required stock throughout the plant as needed to maintain production
  • Will load and unload trucks as necessary via forklift, hand jack, etc.
  • Responsible to Generate/Maintain correct labeling and accurate counts of material.
  • Ensure all proper housekeeping is completed for specific workstations and surrounding area of the shipping/warehouse department
  • Ensure all safety requirements are maintained for the equipment and in the  surrounding area
  • Understands and completes the quality procedures and verifications for this position
  • Generates B.O.L. and all necessary shipping paperwork including, dock receipts, pick tickets, and prep orders for shipment.
  • Works with all other plant personnel to ensure efficient operation of the plant
  • Will perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager



Requirements

 

  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Multi-tasker with effective prioritization skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Good mobility, energy level and ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds
  • Requires good visual acuity
  • Must be willing and able to operate a forklift - we will train
  • Able to climb ladders up to six feet
  • Good mobility for high physical activity including but not limited to reaching, standing, stooping, squatting & crawling to access material storage areas
  • Experience with ERP systems

THIS IS A NON-RELOCATION POSITION


  

Salary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 hourly (commensurate with experience) The final salary for this position will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and internal equity.
