Description

The responsibilities of the MRO and Logistics Associate extend far beyond routine tasks. They directly impact key areas such as:

  • Safety and Compliance: A high-standard professional ensures adherence to safety protocols and proper inventory organization, reducing the risk of accidents or OSHA violations.
  • Operational Efficiency: Accurate record-keeping, technical proficiency (e.g., SAP), and problem-solving capabilities are vital to preventing delays, stockouts, and costly errors.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Timely and accurate material handling ensures that production timelines are met, safeguarding our reputation and client relationships.
  • Team Collaboration and Independence: Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously free up management resources and foster a productive, cohesive environment.

The position is for a Bench position Tuesday to Friday from 11:00am to 09:45pm. There may occasionally be work during the weekend.

· Maintain safety and housekeeping. Contribute to keeping warehouses properly organized. Notify management of inventory situations with potential for damage or safety concerns.

· Assist in MRO part activities as directed by VW management.

· Execute the values, philosophy, mission, strategy, policies, and standards of the organization, to achieve the vision of The Company.

· Communication to VW Management

· Continuous focus on fostering a safe work environment.

· Practices safe work procedures and always follows all safety rules.

· Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by VW Supervisor and/or Team Lead

· Issue requested material(s) to customers and prioritizing line down conditions.

· Properly document stockouts.

· Entered issued materials(Material Request From; MRF) into SAP.

· Put-away and label parts with VW unique number (Z-number) parts in the designated locations.

· Note and expedite any material related issues (incorrect count, broken, mixed parts, etc.)

Properly transfers physically & systematically in SAP.

· Ability to operate Equipment / Tools listed under the Job Requirements (i.e. Laptop, scanners, walk behind lift, etc.)

· Must be able to work in a plant and office environment with proper professional office standard etiquette.

· Focus on serving customers.

· Physical Requirements to include but not limited to:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Utilize 12ft rolling ladder
  • Reaching, pulling, and climbing

Working hours:

Schedule is Tuesday–Friday, 11:00am–9:45pm. However, it is essential that the candidate have the flexibility to cover any day, time, or shift as needed due to absenteeism.
