Job Type: Contract / Freelance Start Date: Immediately Project Duration: 1–2 Months (Initial Phase) Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and project scope Job Overview Halo Logistics is seeking a talented 3D Character Designer & Animator to bring our female AI character life. Marie will serve as a central interactive character within our technology ecosystem. We have an established creative direction and are looking for someone who can transform that vision into a fully designed, expressive, and animated 3D character. This is an immediate contract opportunity with the potential for a long-term creative partnership. Key Responsibilities Develop and finalize Marie's complete 3D character design. Create professional character modeling, rigging, and animation. Develop natural talking, listening, and conversational animations. Create thinking, processing, and responsive animations. Build a wide variety of expressions, movements, personality traits, and subtle mannerisms. Develop smooth transitions between animation states. Create reusable animation assets suitable for integration into our technology platform. Collaborate with our team to refine and expand the character's visual identity. Qualifications Proven experience in 3D character design and animation. Strong portfolio demonstrating character modeling, rigging, and expressive animations. Proficiency in Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, or similar software. Experience creating facial expressions, conversational animations, and natural character movements. Strong creative vision, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. Experience with interactive AI characters, digital avatars, or real-time animation is a plus. Project Phases Phase 1 — Initial Development (1–2 Months) Complete the character's core design, modeling, rigging, and foundational animation library, including talking, thinking, listening, expressions, and personality-driven movements. Phase 2 — Expanded Development Additional contract work to expand Marie's animation library, expressions, interactions, and character capabilities. Phase 3 — Long-Term Partnership An ongoing creative relationship for future animations, character refinements, and development needs on a project-by-project basis. Future phases are anticipated but subject to project needs and mutual agreement. Compensation Compensation is negotiable based on experience, portfolio quality, and agreed project deliverables.
