Receiving Lead Person Receiving Department (Dept. 3033) — Searcy, AR Lead the dock. Keep product moving. Set the standard for your team. Land O'Frost is hiring a Receiving Lead Person at our Searcy, AR plant. Reporting to the Receiving Supervisor, you'll coordinate the receiving team, manage the flow of fresh and frozen raw materials into the plant, and keep our coolers and freezer clean, organized, and stocked so the Formulation department has what it needs. No degree required. If you hold a current CDL, know your way around a warehouse, and like being the person others count on to keep things running, this role is for you. Lead the Team, Grow Your Career As Receiving Lead, you're the point person for the receiving crew — setting freezer and receiving schedules, coordinating with outside carriers, and working directly with Accounting, Formulation, QA, and Scheduling. It's a role that builds real leadership and coordination experience inside a food manufacturing operation. On the Receiving team, you'll be the first link in the chain that gets quality product from the truck to the line. What You'll Do Keep the raw meat coolers and freezer clean and organized Coordinate the activities of all receiving personnel Coordinate handling of product going to the Quick Thaw, including dividing frozen raw materials Maintain an inventory of frozen materials at LOF to support the Formulation department Set and coordinate the freezer work schedule and the fresh and frozen raw material receiving schedules for all receiving personnel Change batteries on all types of lifts and plug changed batteries into the charger Immediately notify your supervisor of any product exposed by damaged cases or mislabeled in any way Follow all food safety, quality, and GMP procedures specific to this position You'll Also Conduct weekly physical inventories of the freezer Conduct a weekly Cypress/LOF inventory comparison (inventory sent vs. IFS receipts) Inform Accounting, Formulation, and Scheduling of any weight shortages on fresh or frozen incoming loads Communicate with outside companies to coordinate appointment times for all incoming fresh and frozen loads Make sure all paperwork is filled out correctly and distributed to QA and Accounting in a timely manner Other duties as assigned by your supervisor What You'll Need Current, valid CDL Basic math skills and computer literacy Ability to read and write neatly Able to obtain a license for all types of lifts Able to communicate professionally with the public and outside companies Willing to work different shifts as needed Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on role in refrigerated and freezer environments. The essential physical functions of this position are: Standing and walking: approximately 90% of an eight-hour workday Lifting up to 60 lbs: anywhere from 0 to 1,000 times per eight-hour shift Must be able to work in temperatures of 32°F and below for long periods of time Land O'Frost is an equal opportunity employer.
