Operations Supervisor – Second Shift Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 7:00 PM–3:00 AM Salary: $70,000–$75,000 Position Overview We’re seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead second-shift warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation activities. You’ll coordinate people and resources, support safe and efficient operations, and help ensure customer commitments are met. Key Responsibilities Oversee rental inventory cleaning, picking, packing, repairs, processing, and staging in accordance with company standards and SOPs. Assign work and direct employees to meet warehouse, cross-dock, and transportation goals. Monitor staffing, workflow, labor utilization, and resources to meet service and budget expectations. Coach and develop team members while reinforcing expectations for safety, quality, attendance, and productivity. Coordinate daily routing and supervise inbound and outbound transportation to support safe, timely deliveries and pickups. Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable DOT, OSHA, and other regulations. Review driver paperwork, routing documents, and transportation records for accuracy and compliance. Lead daily transportation and cross-dock meetings to communicate priorities, updates, and challenges. Address operational issues and collaborate with Customer Service and other departments to keep work moving smoothly. Oversee yard activities, including trailer movement, vehicle staging, equipment use, and material handling. Assist with facility operations, housekeeping, and maintenance as needed. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish required. At least 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, transportation, distribution, or a related field. Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Transportation, routing, cross-dock, or distribution experience strongly preferred. Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to motivate and develop employees. Associate degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
