AirLife is searching for a 2nd shift Warehouse Lead for our temperature-controlled warehouse in Litchfield Park, AZ! Our shift is from 3:30PM-12:00AM.

POSITION SUMMARY 

Reporting directly to the 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor, the team leaders are responsible for overseeing their individual departments, working with other team leaders and areas of the warehouse. 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS 

The specific minimum competencies needed to perform the essential duties of the job include knowledge, skills, abilities, level of education, and experience necessary for successful performance.  These competencies are generally demonstrated through specific service, education, or training.

Skills & Abilities:   

  • Basic math and computer skills required.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with peers.
  • Must be familiar with common material handling equipment and be a licensed forklift truck operator.
  • Attention to detail and able to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Assess training needs.
  • Present and Monitor training of Co-workers.
  • Coordinate scheduling of training with team leader.

Level of Experience:   

  • 2 years warehouse experience
  • 2 years inventory control
  • 1-year leadership role

Level of Education:   

High School degree or equivalent 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Maintain the Warehouse and Distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related duties as needed.
  • Monitoring and training individuals within your area.
  • Ensuring orders such as stocking and receiving are done and completed in a timely manner.
