track materials while helping keep orders and inventory flowing across warehouse distribution activities. The position is suited to someone who works carefully, follows safety standards, and communicates well with teammates.
Duties
• Operate a reach truck, forklift, lift truck, Hi-Lo, pallet jack, and other material handling equipment as assigned; use an order picker or cherry picker when qualified.
• Load and unload materials, replenish storage locations, and complete order picking using barcode scanning and a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Support shipping and receiving, inventory management, and general warehouse operations.
• Follow forklift safety protocols, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, and applicable production safety standards.
• Inspect equipment, report issues, and perform only authorized basic equipment repair. Your impact: Safe, accurate handling helps coworkers fulfill orders and keeps materials available for downstream operations.
Requirements
• Warehouse experience, including materials handling, manual handling, and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Demonstrated reach truck and forklift operation skills; experience with clamp trucks or other heavy equipment is helpful.
• Familiarity with order picking, barcode scanning for logistics, shipping and receiving, and warehouse management systems.
• Basic math skills and a consistent focus on safe work practices.
• Warehouse supervisor experience is preferred, not required; knowledge of warehouse management and distribution is an asset.
