Position Summary: Responsible for executing the daily operations plan as outlined by the Dry Pack Supervisor, ensuring the packaging of high-quality products in a safe and efficient manner. Oversee the facilitation of workflow across all stations and ensure the proper storage of finished goods from Wet Pack into designated locations within Dry Pack. Essential Job Functions: Operate forklift trucks and other machinery to efficiently move products throughout the Dry Pack racking system and to various workstations. Collaborate with all team members in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner, both verbally, non-verbally, and in written communication. Set a positive example by serving as a role model for colleagues and maintaining high standards of professionalism. Coordinate with the Dry Pack Supervisor, Materials/Purchasing Manager, and Shipping/Logistics Manager to align on production priorities. Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of product specifications and packing configurations. Possess proficiency in using software systems, including the ERP System (currently SOAR), Smooth-On Master Form, and Forkit 2.0. Work closely with the Supervisor to prioritize and ensure timely packing of all scheduled jobs. Conduct inspections of job pack-outs throughout the shift to ensure accuracy in product selection, correct box labeling, and proper inclusion of the correct TB inside boxes. Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain the Afinia and Trojan printers to ensure efficient functionality. Actively seek opportunities for self-improvement and encourage continuous improvement in others. Maintain technical proficiency and demonstrate a strong understanding of job responsibilities as well as coworkers’ tasks. Maintain awareness of date codes and product shelf life to ensure proper stock rotation. Assist the Supervisor in facilitating enhanced productivity within the packaging department. Stay vigilant and take corrective action if discrepancies are observed in the work of others. Perform cross-checking of coworkers' tasks for accuracy. Participate actively in teams and committees to drive departmental improvements. Document and author detailed debrief reports, including an end-of-shift debrief in the absence of the Production Supervisor. Be flexible and willing to work overtime during weekdays and weekends as required to meet production needs. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong proficiency in operating a forklift. Knowledge of SOAR. Able to clearly communicate. Good organizational skills. Familiar with packaging supplies and finished goods. Ability to identify and handle Hazardous Materials. Able to prioritize and work independently. Able to solve problems. Fill out paperwork and reports neatly, accurately and completely. Comfortable with MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
