We’re looking for an experienced 2nd Shift Distribution Supervisor to lead our Ohio distribution operation. While warehouse and inventory experience are important, we’re especially interested in someone with a strong track record of leading people, developing talent, building engagement, and holding teams accountable for results . This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position. You’ll spend time with your team on the floor, coaching employees, developing shift leads, solving problems, reinforcing safety expectations, and ensuring we deliver for our customers. Schedule : Monday through Friday, 2nd shift, typically beginning in the late afternoon. Flexibility may occasionally be needed based on business needs. Responsibilities: Lead and D evelop Your Team Provide visible, hands-on leadership to distribution associates and shift leads. Set clear expectations and coach employees to achieve individual and team goals. Develop employees through training, mentoring, cross-training, and regular feedback. Help shift leads strengthen their leadership capabilities and prepare for future growth opportunities. Build a positive, accountable culture centered on teamwork, communication, safety, and customer service. Participate in hiring and help onboard new team members for success. Address performance concerns, employee issues, and conflict promptly and constructively. Plan staffing and coverage, manage time and attendance, and make effective use of overtime and resources. Own the Operation Lead the shift to meet daily goals for safety, quality, productivity, order fulfillment, and customer service. Ensure customer orders and trucks are accurately prepared, loaded, and completed on schedule. Coordinate closely with traffic and other teams to keep work flowing efficiently. Ensure inventory control, replenishment, receiving, and cycle-counting processes are followed. Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, service issues, and operational problems. Communicate shift performance, concerns, and priorities clearly to management and other shifts. Maintain high standards for warehouse safety, security, organization, and housekeeping. Drive Continuous Improvement Look beyond the immediate problem to identify root causes and lasting solutions. Engage the team in improving processes, productivity, efficiency, and customer service. Encourage employees to bring forward ideas and take ownership of results. Help create a flexible, cross-trained workforce that can respond to changing business needs Qualifications: 5+ years of distribution supervisory/management experience, preferably in a pick/pack warehouse environment. Strong people-leadership experience, including coaching, employee development, accountability, conflict resolution, and team building. A hands-on, visible leadership style and strong work ethic. Strong inventory-control knowledge and operational problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A continuous-improvement mindset. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations, or business preferred. Private fleet/DOT experience preferred. Ability to work 2nd shift and flex hours as business needs require. Why Join Style Crest?
