Responsibilities Safely operate a 26ft box truck for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of goods Manage delivery routes efficiently, optimizing schedules to meet customer expectations and deadlines Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during pickups and drop-offs Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and delivery receipts for record-keeping purposes Assist with warehouse activities including moving inventory, organizing shipments, and supporting team operations as needed Skills Proven experience as a commercial driver with a focus on box trucks or similar vehicles Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Experience with warehouse operations, including loading/unloading and inventory management Familiarity with driving routes, route planning, and navigation tools to ensure timely deliveries Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks related to cargo handling safely Knowledge of forklift operation and pallet jack usage is a plus Comfortable operating manual transmission vehicles with attention to safety and precision This role demands energetic engagement, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to delivering outstanding service.
