26ft OTR Box Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver (OTR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic regulations. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining positive relationships with our clients. Duties Operate straight box truck OTR, to transport goods to designated locations. Driver must be able to drive during day and night shifts. Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance. Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery times while adhering to traffic laws. Load and unload cargo, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that all items are secured properly. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns professionally. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport. Collaborate with dispatchers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries. Utilize lift gate and pallet jack or other equipment as necessary for loading/unloading tasks. Experience Previous experience as a Box Truck Driver. Proven background Driving with a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
