GEESE Logistics26-Foot Box Truck Delivery Driver We are seeking a dependable, professional, and hardworking 26-Foot Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our delivery team. This is a hands-on position. Our drivers are responsible for more than simply driving from stop to stop. You will be responsible for safely operating a 26-foot box truck, communicating with customers, completing deliveries, handling freight, using our mobile delivery system, and working with your helper to complete the daily route safely and efficiently. Schedule: Monday–Friday Start Time: Approximately 6:00 AM–8:00 AM End Time: When the assigned truck route is completed Pay Schedule: Weekly Pay Primary Responsibilities Safely operate a 26-foot box truck on daily delivery routes. Complete residential and commercial deliveries. Conduct a pre-trip inspection of the truck before beginning the route. Work closely with your delivery helper to safely and efficiently complete all assigned stops. Pre-call customers while en route to confirm deliveries and provide estimated arrival times. Communicate professionally with customers by phone and in person. Navigate efficiently between delivery locations and follow assigned routing. Use a smartphone and company delivery application to manage and close out completed orders . Properly document deliveries, including required signatures, photos, Proof of Delivery (POD), exceptions, damages, or other required information. Safely load, unload, move, and position freight. Properly operate a pallet jack when moving freight. Assist with assembling or putting together delivered products when required. Use common hand tools, including socket wrenches, Allen/hex keys, screwdrivers, and other basic tools . Verify freight and delivery information before completing each stop. Protect customer property and merchandise during the delivery process. Maintain a clean and organized truck throughout the workday. Report damages, shortages, delivery issues, mechanical problems, or customer concerns to management. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable traffic and transportation laws. Work efficiently with your helper to complete the entire route each day. Driver Requirements Applicants must: Possess a valid driver's license . Provide or authorize the company to obtain a current DMV/Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) as part of the hiring process. Possess acceptable identification and employment-authorization documentation as required by law. Be able to meet company driving-record requirements. Be able to successfully complete required pre-employment screening/background-check requirements. Have experience safely operating a 26-foot box truck or similar commercial delivery vehicle . Have previous pallet jack experience . Be comfortable driving and maneuvering a 26-foot truck in residential neighborhoods, commercial properties, loading areas, parking lots, and other delivery environments. Have reliable transportation to and from work. Be dependable and consistently report to work on time. Be comfortable with early-morning start times. Be available Monday through Friday . Understand that there is not a guaranteed daily ending time . Drivers work until their assigned route is completed. Be comfortable using a smartphone, GPS/navigation, and mobile applications. Be comfortable communicating directly with customers. Be proficient with basic hand tools. Be physically capable of performing the loading, unloading, delivery, and assembly responsibilities of the position.
