26ft box truck driver

OTR Driver (1099) Pay: 20% of the truck's weekly gross revenue, paid weekly Weekly bonuses (they don't stack, you get the highest one earned): $6,000 weekly gross: +$75 $7,000 weekly gross: +$150 $8,000+ weekly gross: +$225 Example: an $8,000 week pays $1,600 base + $225 bonus = $1,825. Lodging: The truck has no sleeper. We cover hotels up to $[70] per night, and anything over that is split 50/50 between the company and the driver. Home time: [Every other week] Lanes: Primarily [Northeast, Southeast and Midwest] Local Driver (1099) Pay: $140 to $170 per day, paid weekly, based on route and experience Schedule: [Monday to Friday], home every night Lanes: Local and regional routes out of Connecticut 1099 Terms (Both Positions) Paid as an independent contractor with no taxes withheld Driver is responsible for their own taxes A 1099 form will be issued at year end [Contractor agreement signed before starting] Truck & Freight [26-ft automatic box truck] Liftgate, pallet jack, E-track and load bars Primarily palletized commercial freight No household moves Responsibilities Safely operate the truck and deliver freight on time Communicate consistently with dispatch Properly secure all freight Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain required logs and follow all DOT/FMCSA regulations Take care of company equipment Requirements Valid driver's license and a clean, current MVR DOT medical card (required) 1 year of truck driving experience (preferred) Dependable, safety-conscious and able to communicate well Benefits Fuel card Fuel discount Paid tolls Location: Connecticut (in person)CDL Required: NoPosition Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Application questions: Are you applying for OTR or Local?
