Axyde Analytics, LLC is seeking a U.S. Defense Trade Lead Author and Subject Matter Expert for opportunity 26-0110, supporting our proposed response to CRDF Global RFP-SP-21-2026. This is a prospective consulting engagement, not an awarded contract or guaranteed employment. Scope Research, write and revise a practical guidebook for foreign military and civilian defense-acquisition professionals covering Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Foreign Military Financing (FMF), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), acquisition planning, technology transfer and export controls. Develop usable process maps, checklists, glossaries, comparison tables and case studies; validate authoritative sources, including DSCA’s Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM), and coordinate technical and editorial review. Relevant expertise Substantial demonstrated FMS, FMF and DCS expertise and ability to interpret SAMM accurately. Authorship of relevant manuals, guidebooks, policy guidance, training products or comparable practical materials. Ability to explain complex processes clearly for international audiences and translation. Export-control, ITAR/EAR, technology-transfer and releasability expertise is valuable; a complementary specialist reviewer may cover these functions. Experience teaching or advising foreign officials is preferred. Proposed arrangement Project-based consulting; remote delivery is proposed and subject to agreement. The location shown is Axyde’s administrative base, not a verified onsite requirement. Workload and compensation are negotiable; please propose an hourly or fixed-price approach. The planned pre-publication guidebook is due within 60 calendar days after award start, followed by buyer review and finalization. No follow-on workshops, hours or work are guaranteed.
