2026-2027 Custodian- Shipping-Receiving Handler (MECUS004) JobID: 3310 Position Type: Custodian/Custodian Date Posted: 10/19/2026 Location: Manalapan, New Jersey Date Available: Immediately Closing Date: Open Until Filled Posting Type: Internal/External Effective: Immediately Description: The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking a Custodian- Shipping and Receiving Handler for the Manalapan Englishtown Middle School with the following qualifications: Qualifications: Ability to read instructions and exhibits good written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills; detail oriented Demonstrates via previous experience a knowledge of inventory management (e.g., receiving systems, stacking patterns, space allocation, racking systems, warehouse setup, automatic identification (optical systems, bar coding, radio frequency, magemetic) Familiar with warehouse operations and safety, rotating stock, inventory management, and handling both manual and electric pallet jacks Knowledge and experience using computer, web-based, and Google-based applications (e.g., Docs, Sheets, etc.) for shipping, receiving, and inventory purposes Demonstrates strength and manual dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks Ability to handle cartons, items, and/or packages weighing up to 75 lbs. without assistance Must possess a low pressure boiler license (black seal) or be willing to obtain one- employment terms mandate securing Black Seal within two years of hire date Holds a valid New Jersey drivers license (CDL license, preferred) Ability to lift 75 lbs Terms of Employment: 12 Month Position Non-Tenure Track Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Salary $44,443 $625 Black Seal License stipend when acquired Contract terms, salary, and benefits as established by the MEEA-SBU CBA Agreement Benefits (if applicable, may include): Health, Dental, Life and Prescription Insurance Enrollment in Pensions Sick & Personal Days Professional Development Opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Application Procedure: Interested candidates should apply online using the following link: Job ID#3310 Please do not mail, email, or bring a resume to the district Human Resources Department or any school.
