RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for an organized and motivated Assistant Batcher to join our Team. The Assistant Batcher will be responsible for ensuring materials are processed, organized, and stored. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting deadlines, and experienced in production and batch mixing procedures. The Assistant Batcher will also operate heavy machinery or drive equipment, so a candidate with experience and a valid driver’s license is preferred and forklift experience is a must! Other responsibilities may include: Move inventory and materials across facilities. Sort, organize and store material inventory in the proper location. Monitor product and ensure quality. Stack and organize large bulk items. Update logs and documentation for inventory processing. Operate machinery such as forklifts and payloaders to move materials for batch blending. Ability to follow instructions directed by the Batcher to prepare and assist with the batch blending process. Ability to follow batching, quality control and safety procedures. Ability to operate mixing and injection equipment. Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards from aisles. Work as an active team member to complete team goals. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Forklift experience is REQUIRED. Payloader experience is a plus. Valid driver’s license. Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the course of the shift Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
