Position Summary The Shipping Clerk plays an important role in supporting accurate and timely outbound shipments at Everflow's Distribution Center. This position is responsible for preparing and verifying shipping documentation, processing shipment transactions, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are shipped correctly and efficiently. The Shipping Clerk helps identify and resolve discrepancies, supports daily shipping operations, and contributes to meeting customer expectations through attention to detail, teamwork, and accountability. What You'll Do (8-10 Bullet Points Max) Prepare, review, and process shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, shipping labels, and related shipment records. Verify outgoing shipments against customer orders, shipping instructions, and system records to ensure accuracy. Process and update shipping transactions using warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, RF scanners, and other designated tools. Identify, research, and communicate shipping discrepancies, including incorrect quantities, product identification errors, and missing documentation. Coordinate with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and transportation providers to support timely and accurate outbound shipments. Maintain accurate electronic and physical shipping records, ensuring proper documentation and shipment traceability. Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding shipment status, shipping documentation, and related issues. Prepare routine shipping activity reports and assist with monitoring shipment accuracy and processing deadlines. Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety requirements, and company policies while maintaining an organized work area. Support additional shipping and warehouse activities as assigned to meet operational needs.
