1st Shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk+

Contract Converting is looking for a new 1st Shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team! Receiving Goods: Unload incoming trucks, inspect packages for damage, and count items to verify accuracy against packing slips and purchase orders. Shipping Goods: Load outgoing trucks, coordinate with freight carriers or delivery drivers to ensure timely delivery Maintaining Records: Log transactions into digital inventory systems or warehouse databases. Managing Discrepancies: Resolve missing items, damaged products, or incorrect vendor orders by working with Managers. Operating Equipment: Move pallets and master rolls using tools like hand trucks, pallet jacks, roll clamps, probes, and forklifts. Other: Other work as assigned Willingness to work in a team/crew environment to become a true member of the team The ability to work in a fast-paced environment Great Work ethic Ability to cover other shifts as needed Good attendance The ability to work 8 to 10 hours a day Carries a good level of energy, along with interpersonal/communication skills Proficiency in adding and subtracting whole number Forklift experience' Responsible for the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area. Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables. Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scans inventory, and counts accurately. Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Provides additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
