Inpro CorporationHours: Monday - Friday; 7:00am - 3:00pm The Shipper position is responsible for preparing orders for shipment and assisting with the fabrication and finishing of signage and printed wall panels in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. This role supports the Signage team by ensuring orders are accurately processed, materials are handled properly, and products are completed and shipped on time to support customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, dependable, and willing to cross-train across various production areas. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Prepare, pack, and ship orders according to specified methods of transportation (MOT) and shipping requirements. Pull, verify, and package materials according to product specifications and work orders. Use internal systems and ERP software to process orders, track shipments, and maintain accurate records. Assist with print finishing operations and the fabrication of signage and printed wall panels. Receive inventory, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records. Develop a thorough understanding of ERP systems, product catalog offerings, and production materials. Safely handle and move materials using forklifts, man lifts, and other applicable equipment. Track packed orders by quantity and product type. Read and interpret technical documents, work orders, part numbers, and product specifications. Coordinate with manufacturing team members and team leads to support production schedules and workflow. Cross-train across production cells to develop basic proficiency in sign fabrication, print production, and finishing operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with 5S+Safety standards. Identify and report quality concerns, nonconforming materials, and safety issues to the appropriate personnel. Follow established company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Qualifications & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math skills and the ability to understand and interpret measurements. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work orders, and product specifications. Ability to distinguish colors. Ability to safely operate power tools and production equipment. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds. Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365 applications. Ability to learn and use internal ERP systems and order-processing software. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality and safety. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing production priorities. Working Relationships Reports to: Signage Team Lead. Internal Collaboration: Works closely with manufacturing personnel and team leads throughout the shop. IT Support: Coordinates with IT regarding computer systems, software, and related technical issues. Maintenance Support: Works with Maintenance to address equipment-related issues. Decision-Making Authority Stop production when quality concerns or safety compliance issues are identified. Report nonconforming materials and safety concerns to management.
