Responsibilities
Primary duties include moving product, conducting inspections, feeding product onto a moving track for wrapping, catching & placing wrapped product into cartons, and palletizing cartons into shipping cases and stacking shipping cases onto pallets. You may also be required to record product data using a computer.
All packaging technicians must maintain a clean work area and keep waste to a minimum while ensuring products meet quality specifications. No beards, jewelry, nail polish, or artificial nails are allowed in the production facilities.
The essential functions of this role include:
• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 40lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
