1st Shift Part Time Material Handler II

Part-Time Material Handler II (1st Shift) Are you an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys staying active and working in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Part-Time Material Handler II to join our team and help keep our operations running smoothly. If you have experience operating a cherry picker, reach truck, and/or sit-down forklift, we want to hear from you! Choose Your Schedule Schedule A: 6:30 am - 11:30 am (Monday - Friday) Schedule B: 9:00 am - 2:00 pm (Monday - Friday) Schedule C: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (Monday - Friday) Additional hours may be available based on business needs. Hourly Pay : $20.00 What You'll Do As a Material Handler II, you'll play a key role in supporting warehouse operations by safely moving materials and finished products throughout the facility. Essential Responsibilities Operate a variety of powered industrial equipment Load and unload trucks Utilize hand-held RF scanners to track inventory Pick up incoming materials from the receiving dock Unload and store inventory in designated bulk storage locations Replenish materials to workstations in a timely manner Pull and stock products in the correct picking locations Transfer finished goods to designated areas Stack and organize pallets and skids Operate manual and motorized pallet jacks Resolve basic operational issues and escalate concerns as needed Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment What We're Looking For Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent Forklift certification Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Preferred Qualifications Material handling or warehouse experience Experience operating: Cherry Picker / Order Picker Reach Truck Sit-Down Forklift Pallet Jacks Familiarity with RF scanners and inventory systems Experience working with part numbering systems Equipment Used Hand-held RF Scanner Manual and Motorized Pallet Jacks Cherry Picker / Order Picker Reach Truck Sit-Down Forklift Other Powered Industrial Equipment The Hillman Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, national origin or ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, protected veteran or military status, genetic information, citizenship status, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state or local laws, regulations or ordinances.
