• Responsible for physical and electronic inventory control to achieve 100% inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate open orders, ship dates and available inventory with CSR, scheduling and carriers to guarantee 100% on-time shipments.
• Process shipping documents, electronically and manually.
• Meet customer shipping requirements, customer small packaging and palleting specs, approved carriers, services, and documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Meet all customers shipping requirements by knowing which carriers, services, documentation and procedures to use, both domestic and international.
Shipping & Receiving Associate Requirements:
Ability to read, write and do simple math
Good mechanical ability
Ability to complete forms and follow instructions
Ability to read and interpret bills of material
Ability to safely and properly load and unload product from trucks
Shipping & Receiving Associate Preferred Skills:
Forklift driving (sit down and stand up preferred)
