Job Position: 1st Shift Inventory Clerk (SAP Experience Required) Location: Fountain Inn, SC 29644 Pay Rate: $19.00/hr Shift 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday–Friday Voluntary Saturday shifts 30-minute unpaid lunch break Description: OpSource Staffing is hiring Invventory Clerk for a rapidly growing manufacturing facility in Fountain Inn, SC. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, with eligibility for permanent hire after approximately 90 days, based on attendance, performance, and business needs. As a 1st Shift Inventory Clerk, you'll play a critical role by being responsible for maintaining proper inventory control, operation and production support for the materials contained within the warehouse area. Primary Responsibilities Compile and maintain records of type, quantity, and value of material, sale, equipment, merchandise or supplies stocked in warehouse area. Count equipment, merchandise, material, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records using computer or manually. Stock and issue supplies or materials. Monitor inventory levels and reconcile physical inventories with records. Check in merchandise and affix labels. Place merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution. Perform both cycle and physical inventory counts. Troubleshoot and resolve system and/or operator-related inventory discrepancies Notify production/purchasing/management of material and/or supplies below established minimum stock level for reorder. Supports and follows QMS guidelines and directions. Provided additional duties as required. Working Environment This position is performed indoors in a manufacturing facility that is not climate controlled. Employees are required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to frequently stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, climb, reach, and perform repetitive motions. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work safely around industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of this position. Qualifications Skills The ideal candidate will have: Must be detail oriented Must possess good communication skills Good record keeping skills Must have a minimum of 1 year forklift experience Strong clerical skills Must be reliable and responsible Must have the ability to work independently with little direct supervision Strong computer proficiency Ability to bend, twist, climb, stoop or stand. Ability to spend time sitting at a desk or workstation. Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to pay attention to detail and follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. An essential function for this position, based on business necessity, is that the employee must be physically in attendance at his/her workstation at the designated company office location during the normal business hours.
