Duties
• Install windows and doors accurately according to project specifications, blueprints, and schematics
• Measure openings precisely to ensure proper fitment of products
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes
• Perform glass installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture or cabinet installation as needed
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate smooth workflow on-site
• Read and interpret construction schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for each project
• Complete remodeling tasks such as metal stud framing, drywall finishing, painting touch-ups, and general handyman repairs
• Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship
Requirements
• Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, carpentry, and fabrication techniques
• Demonstrated experience with glass installation, door hanging, window framing, fixture setup, and remodeling projects
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements quickly
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients or project managers when necessary
• Prior handyman experience or construction and Knowledge of Infinity Window by Marvin is a plus
• Must have liability and worker's comp insurance
• Background Check Requirement: Candidates must successfully pass a background check. Due to client requirements, individuals with felony convictions within the past seven (7) years are not eligible for this position.
