Operating windows heavily prioritize mandatory early morning starts to align with commercial contractor supply surges. Total work shifts can extend up to a maximum capacity of 10 hours daily depending on direct client volume; however, because this is an independent contract partnership, you maintain the flexibility to complete your assigned runs and leave the road whenever you choose. POSITION REQUIREMENTS & PREFERRED EXPERIENCES: To ensure the highest tier of commercial service for our corporate accounts, applicants must satisfy the following baseline qualifications and experiential standards: Age Limit: Must be 21 years of age or older to satisfy baseline vehicle insurance carrier underwriting compliance guidelines. Background Screening: Must possess a valid, active Driver’s License and successfully pass a mandatory Background / MVR Driving Record Investigation with zero major safety infractions. Core Skillsets: Proven experience in commercial route driving, loading and unloading physical cargo, strong defensive driving capabilities, and excellent customer service communication skills are highly preferred. Physical Strength: Must be physically capable of consistently lifting, maneuvering, and handling heavy transport materials over 50 pounds . Mobile Tooling: Must possess and maintain a modern, reliable, and active working smartphone with a continuous data plan to operate our mobile route tracking and dispatch systems. Personal Safety Equipment: Contractors must provide their own mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), consisting of steel-toe work boots, a safety hard hat, a high-visibility neon safety vest, and protective safety glasses. Preferred Certifications: Possession of active HIPAA or Blood-Borne Pathogen Certifications is highly preferred and will immediately fast-track your profile for specialized, premium-tier commercial transport runs. Towing & Mechanical Aptitude: A minimum of 90 days of practical performance history handling conventional towing, mechanical hookups, and trailer operations is preferred. Candidates must be fully prepared to complete a practical, face-to-face Hitch Setup and Towing Test , demonstrating proficiency in dropping a coupler, crossing safety chains, and connecting wiring harnesses safely.
