1099 Independent Contractor Delivery Driver-Cargo/Sprinter Van ONLY

Job Description Nexus Courier Solutions LLC is seeking dependable 1099 Independent Contractor Delivery Drivers with their own Cargo Van or Sprinter Van to join our Houston-area delivery team. Drivers will perform scheduled last-mile package delivery routes assigned through one of our logistics partners. This is an independent contractor opportunity for professional drivers who can safely and efficiently complete assigned routes. Responsibilities Pick up assigned packages from the designated Houston-area warehouse/hub. Load and organize packages for efficient delivery. Complete assigned residential and/or commercial deliveries. Use a smartphone/GPS and required delivery application to navigate routes and document completed deliveries. Scan packages and provide required proof of delivery. Follow delivery instructions and established operating procedures. Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays, delivery issues, damaged packages, or other route concerns. Maintain professional and courteous conduct while representing Nexus Courier Solutions and our logistics partners. Maintain a reliable Cargo Van or Sprinter Van , valid driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and required documentation. Route Details & Schedule Approximately 50–120+ packages per route , depending on daily volume. Approximately 75–150 route miles , depending on the assigned route. Delivery opportunities are available Monday through Sunday . Drivers must be available to report to the designated warehouse between approximately 5:30 AM and 8:30 AM , depending on route assignment. Route/package volume and mileage may vary from day to day. Compensation This is a production-based 1099 independent contractor opportunity and is not an hourly position or guaranteed daily rate. Compensation is based on successfully completed package deliveries . Drivers receive an additional $0.25 per completed route mile . The full $0.25-per-mile mileage payment is passed through to the driver to help offset fuel and vehicle operating expenses. Payments are issued weekly. Actual earnings vary based on package volume, package type, route mileage, and successfully completed deliveries. Drivers are responsible for their own fuel, vehicle maintenance, insurance, and other vehicle-related operating expenses.
