Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 1099 Fixture Installer to join our dynamic team. This independent contractor role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of retail and commercial projects, installing fixtures, signage, and visual merchandising elements that enhance store environments pay is NET30. As a Fixture Installer, you will play a vital role in transforming spaces, ensuring installations are completed accurately, efficiently, and to client specifications. Your expertise in store setup, remodeling, and visual design will contribute to creating engaging shopping experiences for customers. Responsibilities Install fixtures, shelving, signage, and display units according to schematics and planograms Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions with precision Manage material handling equipment safely for heavy lifting and transportation of installation materials Ensure all installations meet safety standards and adhere to client specifications Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate schedules and address on-site needs Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after installations Use mobile devices to document progress, capture photos for quality assurance, and report issues promptly Experience Proven supervising experience or leadership roles in retail store management or remodeling projects Experience in merchandising, store setup, or visual merchandising environments Knowledge of planogram implementation and retail sales strategies Skilled in the use of ladders, manual handling equipment, and standard passenger car operation for transportation between sites Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration Background in interior design or remodeling projects is advantageous Ability to handle heavy lifting safely, perform manual handling tasks efficiently, and execute precise measurements using basic math skills Experience with inventory management, stock replenishment, pricing adjustments, and POS systems is beneficial Demonstrated customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction and professionalism Join us as a 1099 Fixture Installer if you’re eager to bring your hands-on expertise into vibrant retail environments while enjoying the flexibility of an independent contractor role.
