1099 Delivery Driver - up to $225 per day * Sunday-Tuesday

Responsibilities Safely operate your personal or commercial vehicle, such as a box truck, cargo van, or SUV/minivan , to complete delivery routes efficiently. Load, unload, and secure packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks when necessary. Follow prescribed routes while adhering to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards to ensure safety and compliance. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs of deliveries, mileage, and time records. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly. Practice safe lifting techniques during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items to prevent injury. Experience Prior delivery driver experience with a proven track record in safe driving and customer service excellence. Warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations, including material handling equipment operation such as pallet jacks. Experience driving box trucks, vans, or commercial trucks with manual transmission is highly desirable. Knowledge of route planning, traffic regulations, and weight handling in the workplace to optimize delivery efficiency. Ability to operate mobile devices for navigation, communication, and delivery updates. Comfort with manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and moving items safely according to best practices.
