Overview Join our dynamic transportation team as a 1099 Commercial Driver's License A Owner Operator and take control of your driving career! This exciting role offers the opportunity to operate a tractor-trailer across over-the-road (OTR) routes, delivering freight efficiently and safely while maintaining your independence. As an owner operator, you'll leverage your expertise in commercial truck driving, logistics cargo handling, and route driving to ensure timely deliveries. We are seeking motivated drivers who thrive on autonomy, adhere strictly to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, and are passionate about providing exceptional service in the transportation industry. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers across designated OTR routes while complying with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and hazardous materials regulations when applicable Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient routing and timely deliveries No touch freight (driver assist is optional) Manage delivery schedules by route planning, adhering to FMCSA regulations for hours of service and safety standards Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues related to hazardous or dangerous goods Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a decent driving record Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including load & unload procedures and freight handling Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials (Hazmat) transportation regulations Proficiency in GPS navigation systems for route optimization on over-the-road routes Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance standards Experience in delivery driving with a focus on freight security and cargo integrity Strong manual handling skills for truck loading/unloading operations involving logistics cargo handling (Optional) Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, hazard awareness, and hazardous goods management Embark on a rewarding career as an owner operator where your skills make a difference!
