About Kinco Kinco (listed in SSE STAR Market in China: 688160) is a leading supplier of motion-control and human-machine-interface components for industrial robots, humanoid robots and mobile robots (AGV/AMR). Kinco is opening its first US site in Silicon Valley: a compact pilot assembly line, warehouse, and technical showroom that will support US robotics customers and US manufacturing partners. About the role This is a ground-floor opportunity to build Kinco's first US site from day one. You will set up and run the site's pilot assembly line, lead its first technicians, manage the warehouse and showroom, and be the hands-on technical contact for US customers and partners. You will work closely with Kinco's manufacturing engineering leadership in China, which sets the technical and quality standards for the site. The role suits someone who wants real ownership early, enjoys building from scratch, and is comfortable working across time zones. Responsibilities Install and commission the site's pilot assembly line with Kinco engineers (Q1 2027); own its work instructions, end-of-line testing, and traceability. Lead the site's technicians, starting with one or two and growing to three to five as volume grows; hire, train and coach the team. Run light assembly and integration of robotic joint modules, servo systems, and related motion-control components. Establish workflow, quality control, workplace safety practices, and inventory management for the line and warehouse. Provide pre- and after-sales technical support to US customers (product specs, demos, troubleshooting, returns and repairs), working with Kinco's overseas sales team and China engineering. Support joint industrialization projects with Kinco's US manufacturing partners. Host customers and partners at the showroom and present Kinco's products and capabilities. Coordinate daily with China teams (engineering, manufacturing, sales), including occasional early-morning or evening calls. Travel to Kinco headquarters in China for training, starting with an initial training period after joining, and periodically afterward. Take a growing role as Kinco expands its US partner manufacturing network. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or a related field. 3–5 years of production, manufacturing, or technical support experience in robotics core components (servo motors, motion control, actuators, robotic joint modules, or similar). Hands-on experience with mechanical/electromechanical assembly, testing, and quality control. Full professional fluency in English, for team leadership and customer-facing work. Professional working proficiency in spoken Mandarin, for technical discussions with China HQ engineering; reading technical Chinese is a plus. Experience leading or training a small team is a plus. Self-starter who thrives in an early-stage, small-team environment. Able to do hands-on work on a production floor, including standing for extended periods and lifting equipment and parts. Willing to travel to China periodically. Must be authorized to work in the United States ; visa sponsorship is not available for this role. What we offer Base salary: $90,000–$125,000 per year, depending on experience. A ground-floor role building Kinco's first US site, with direct access to HQ engineering and leadership. Room to grow into a broader US operations leadership role as the site expands. ━━━━━━━━━━━━ https://en.kinco.cn Apply/Refer: zangcy@kinco.cn Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
