Yard Worker/ Material Handler

Yard Worker/Customer Service is responsible for helping customers in the yard find and load product safely, go on deliveries, keep the yard clean and organized and do inventory.

Shifts 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturdays 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Job Duties:

• ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service
• assess customer's needs and provide assistance
• maintain in-stock and presentable conditions to assigned areas
• aisle maintenance
• actively seek out customers in the yard
• remain knowledgeable on product locations
• build productive trust relationships with customers
• stock shelves
• sweeping
• garbage pick up
• cleaning products
• re-stacking lumber
• keeping the yard clean
• help load and unload trucks
• helping with inventory
• going on deliveries, unloading and carrying into buildings in some cases
• building picnic tables
• cutting grass, weed eating
• participating in yard projects
• other duties as required/asked by Manager/Assistant Manager or Supervisor on Duty

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.60 per hour -22 per hour

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Experience:

• forklift/ skid steer/ tractor : 1 year (preferred)
• customer service: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (preferred)
