Warehouse Team Leader - Atlas McNeil Dandenong South

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Manager, you will lead the warehouse team to ensure operational efficiency, compliance and service standards are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and set clear performance expectations across the warehouse team
• Coordinate accurate picking, invoicing and on-time despatch
• Maintain a strong “Safety First” culture at all times
• Oversee receiving in line with Bunzl policies and procedures
• Execute freight planning and allocate orders to drivers
• Ensure service levels are met across all customer orders
• Support stocktake and reconciliation processes
• Manage rental pallet accountability
• Plan coverage for team leave and workload fluctuations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives

This is a working leadership role. You will lead from the front and remain operationally involved.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced warehouse professional with strong leadership capability and a clear understanding of compliance and process discipline.

You will bring:

• Proven warehouse operations experience
• Strong order picking and dispatch experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of storage and handling of dangerous goods
• Sound understanding of WHS legislation
• Strong numerical and analytical capability
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise and perform under pressure

Qualifications:

• Valid Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
• Store Picker Licence (LO) – desirable
• Dangerous Goods awareness training – preferred
• Certificate IV in Warehousing (or similar) – desirable

You are organised, proactive and hold high standards. You know how to motivate a team while holding them accountable.
