Warehouse Support Supervisor
Location: Amherst, NY
The range for this position starts at $62,000-65,000 annually depending on experience, qualifications and location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process.

Position Purpose:
To communicate, monitor and coordinate warehouse support functions such as replenishment, kitting, transportation, inventory counting, hazard and scrap disposal, archives, Uniforms, and Training.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate warehouse activities including inventory counting, replenishment, kitting of
- production orders, and processing of scrapped material
- Ensure that Warehouse Support team meets or exceeds any department Key Performance Indicator (KPI) given by direct manager (or designate)
- Coordinate the movement and storage of archives and maintain archive box listing
spreadsheet
- Coordinate hazardous material storage and disposal
- Coordinate company vehicle pickups/deliveries (including Canada) and all vehicle
required fees (tolls, registrations, DOT related requirements)
- Coordinate the assembly of production orders
- Coordinate the replenishment of appropriate items before picking, packing and shipping teams arrive
- Coordinate disposal of expired or discontinued product list given to by inventory team
- Execute cost center expense of parts for shipping boxes for distribution
- Execute creation of purchase requisitions for Warehouse Support supplies
- Coordinate forklift and vehicle preventative maintenance and repair
- Execute IMWM SAP functions in order to solve SAP issues
- Execute needed IMWM SAP testing for change requests and releases
- Monitor and resolve warehouse activities with SAP transaction LL01
- Monitor working area to maintain an acceptable level of LEAN 5S by ensuring a clean and safe work environment, keeping workstations neat, aisles and pathways clear of
debris and clutter and labeling items/areas where applicable
- Develop and maintain QUMAS documents for warehouse support team
Secondary Functions:
- Assist Receiving team with receiving and put away of product
- This position may be required to operate a company vehicle
- Bin assignment and set up in material master
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel and Outlook required
- Prior supervisory training or experience and warehousing experience required
- Product knowledge and SAP experience helpful, especially IMWM functions
Proven communication and leadership skills required
- Must be eligible to operate a company vehicle under existing insurance guidelines if
required to operate such vehicle
- Experience using a hand-held scanner a plus

- Ability and dexterity to work in a fast-paced standing/moving position for long periods of time required
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to wear ANSI or ASTM certified safety shoes for 8 hours per day
