You will support warehouse operations in term of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will provide team leadership and direction for the warehouse organization. In this role, you will implement warehouse strategy and effectively execute operations to ensure optimum logistics solutions while supporting various routes-to-market, and balancing service and cost. You will also work collaboratively with key internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. 

How you will contribute

You will: 

  • Own the P&L for warehouse operations
  • Manage all activities related to handling and warehousing of finished goods, semi FG and/or raw and pack materials for our distributions center/s and/or implant warehouse/s in a particular site/geography
  • Create a winning team by developing, coaching, delegating and leading warehouse personnel in the area of responsibility who can drive the business agenda and enable them to have the opportunity to grow in the organization
  • Maintain proper storage and rotation of stock in the warehouse using technology such as a warehouse management system and ensure the warehousing operation minimizes products write-offs and maximizes capacity usage meeting the overall business objectives
  • Manage services to provide a savings to our overall costs, superior service to internal and external customers and ensure safe and legal operation
  • Support network design activities and projects that improve our overall strategic position
  • Monitor third-party logistics service levels, research causal factors and implement corrective actions to maximize efficiency and maintain strong partnerships with providers

  • Experience managing warehousing operations ideally in FMCG/CPG
  • Deep understanding of logistic, supply chain, transportation and distribution center operations
  • Experience in team leadership and people management including union representation

  • Able to negotiate, influence and manage effective relationships with third-party partners
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and able to analyze and synthesize data
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and requirements for the geography

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including inbound receiving, inspection processes, production replenishment, material staging, finished goods storage, and shipment execution. 

  • Oversee specialized functions such as tank farm operations and bulk material handling where applicable. 

  • Coordinate effectively with external warehouses for material transfers and inventory management. 

  • Ensure alignment with site objectives across Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and Engagement. 

  • Balance short-term execution with long-term operational stability. 

  • Proactively identify risks and trends (e.g., inventory accuracy, service reliability, labor constraints) and implement corrective actions before they impact operations. 

  • Ensure continuous adherence to operational routines and company standards (e.g., IL6S / DMS Principles). 

  • Act as a steward of company standards while adapting to daily operational duties and tasks. 

  • Willingness to become certified on equipment. 

Team Leadership & Development: 

  • Provide direct leadership, guidance, and coaching to warehouse associates, fostering a positive and engaged team environment. 

  • Reinforce expectations, accountability, and escalation paths effectively. 

  • Maintain consistent leadership tone and standards by promoting engagement, morale, and trust. 

Compliance & Safety: 

  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with health and safety regulations, quality standards, food defense, legal requirements, and company policies. 

  • Proactively identify and correct process gaps to prevent audit findings. 

System & Inventory Management: 

  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, S4/O9) to manage inventory control, ensuring system integrity and accurate physical movements. 

  • Connect physical movements to system data integrity. 

Education / Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred. 

  • Certified to operate a stand-up forklift. 

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in warehouse or operations, ideally within a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment. 

  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct supervisory or managerial experience leading a team. 

  • Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); SAP experience is preferred. 

  • At least 3 years of experience creating analytic visualizations and summaries based on complex data sources, utilizing tools such as MS Excel, MS Power BI. 

  • Experience in team leadership and people management 

  • Experience operating stand-up forklifts

Work schedule: 6pm-6am (Night Shift)

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.

No Relocation support available, however for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
