Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Fairfield, OH (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months contract with strong extension
Pay Range: $50.00 to $62.00 per hour on W2
Schedule: Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility required to cover overtime during the week based on business needs.
Job Description:
- The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and optimizing warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement, storage, and distribution of materials and finished goods.
- This role oversees inventory management, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, shipping, and logistics activities while driving operational excellence, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- The Warehouse Supervisor provides both strategic and hands-on leadership, ensuring high levels of customer service, inventory accuracy, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put away, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and efficient material flow to meet business and customer requirements.
- Drive operational excellence by monitoring performance, resolving issues, optimizing warehouse layouts, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards while fostering a strong culture of workplace safety.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to achieve safety, quality, productivity, and cost objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Transportation, and Customer Service, to ensure seamless operational execution.
- Analyze operational metrics and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, service levels, and cost performance.
Must have:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a Warehouse or Distribution environment with at least 2 of these years in a leadership role (leading teams of 15+).
- Strong understanding of material logistics processes, inventory accuracy/systems, and production/order requirements.
- Experience with ERP & WMS systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred)
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, DMAIC).
- Experience supporting audits, compliance programs, and operational standardization.
