As a Warehouse Security Officer in University Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where, in this access control role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You will remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, assist with site access activity, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or access credentials, and document visitor, driver, and delivery activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, loading zones, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing site activity, reporting unusual behavior and/or policy violations, and maintaining accurate security-related records and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
