WEEKEND WORK REQUIRED

EXPERIENCED SELECTORS NEEDED!!!!

MAKE SURE THE PLACE YOU DROVE ELECTRIC PALLET JACK/WORKED IN A GROCERY DC IS INCLUDED IN YOUR WORK HISTORY!!!!!

Grocery Shift – 6am until work is done – Non-climate controlled area Pay $20.60 per hour – top pay after one year is $23.69*

Freezer Shift – 5am until work is done – Temp -20º to 32º Pay $20.60 per hour + $2/hr in the freezer – top pay after one year is $23.69*+ $2/hr in the freezer

Fresh Shift – 3pm until work is done – Temp 32º to 55º Pay $22.00 per hour – top pay after one year is $25.00*

Produce Shift – 4:30pm until work is done – Temp 32º to 55º Pay $22.00 per hour – top pay after one year is $25.00*

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse personnel to attain specific goals and measurable results.
2. Ensure accuracy within warehouse operations.
3. Establish, monitor, and maintain a safe and sanitary work environment in strict compliance with government regulations and Company policies
4. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and practices.
5. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of warehouse operations and personnel.
6. Train and develop department staff, identifying and mentoring high potential candidates
7. Successful interaction between other departments within the distribution center
8. Implement best practices in managing inventories using a warehouse management system

Ability to effectively manage personnel to ensure productivity

Qualifications: 

1. High school graduate
2. College Degree strongly preferred
3. 10+ years of distribution and warehouse experience in grocery wholesale industry.
4. Knowledge of OSHA, safety regulations, sanitation, and food safety as required for warehouse operations
5. Broad knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems.
6. Broad knowledge of engineered labor standards preferred
7. Excellent written and oral interpersonal/communication skills
8. Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) preferred but not required.
9. Ability to chart, forecast, plan, manage, and measure day-to-day operations.
10. Able to effectively interact with multiple levels within the company.
11. Strong planning and organizational skills
12. Exhibits initiative, high energy, and resourcefulness.
13. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Access
14. Ability to apply internal control practices
