The Experience We’d Love To See:

  • Proven experience managing inventory control, receiving, and distribution in a fast-paced warehouse.
  • Demonstrated success designing and maintaining warehouse layout, bin locations, and material flow to improve picking efficiency.
  • Track record running a cycle count program, reconciling discrepancies, and meeting inventory accuracy targets.
  • Experience supervising work order picking, job staging, and installer truck replenishment.
  • Strong vendor coordination skills to ensure receiving accuracy and timely corrective actions.
  • Leadership experience building accountable, safety-focused warehouse teams.
  • Familiarity with plumbing materials and tools to support technical inquiries and correct stocking.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and the ability to generate and interpret operational reports.

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Warehouse layout, bin locations, and material flow - design, implement, and maintain an efficient physical layout and bin assignment strategy.
  • Receiving accuracy and vendor coordination - enforce receiving procedures, verify shipments, document discrepancies, and manage vendor follow-up.
  • Inventory control and cycle counting - own the cycle count schedule, investigate variances, authorize adjustments, and drive accuracy improvements.
  • Work order picking and job staging - manage picking workflows, stage materials for jobs, and ensure on-time dispatch to the field.
  • Installer truck stock replenishment - plan and execute truck replenishment cycles, verify manifests, and confirm trucks depart fully stocked.
  • Leadership of warehouse staff and daily warehouse operations - hire, train, schedule, coach, and discipline staff; set KPIs and enforce safety standards.
  • Reporting and continuous improvement - produce regular reports on inventory levels, receiving accuracy, picking productivity, and replenishment; implement process changes to reduce errors and cost.
  • Issue resolution and escalation - rapidly address damaged inventory, shortages, or logistical bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • REQUIRED: Valid Driver’s License and good driving record (5 years) 
  • REQUIRED: 5+ years of warehouse experience. 
  • REQUIRED: 3+ years in warehouse leadership. 
  • REQUIRED: Ability to stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist, and crawl for periods of time 
  • REQUIRED: High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • PREFERRED: 2- or 4-year Warehouse Management degree 
  • Computer and Internet related skills (MS Office, Excel, Gmail, etc.) 
  • Able to work in a warehouse environment requiring physical labor throughout the day 
  • Must be a self-starter with good communication skills 
  • Must be efficient with meticulous attention to detail 
  • Ability to work without supervision once trained, self-disciplined 
  • Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and problem solve 
  • Ability to maintain a professional distance with co-worders to be an effective leader.
