Our Clark location is part of our Taste Division, producing flavors and ingredients. Our Clark facility is unique in the sense they have two buildings. The North building has a fruitier smell to it, the teams in that building are producing natural flavorings and essential oils. The South building is the complete opposite, it will have savory and garlic smells because the team is producing seasonings for meat, chicken broth, and beef gravy.

Key Responsibility
Responsible for obtaining material samples required by R&D teams and Quality department alongside pre-manufacturing and co-manufacturing sample processes. Ensure proper sampling techniques, documentation, and chain of custody procedures are followed. When availability allows, support internal warehouse activities including small parcel shipments and general material handling operations.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
• Collect and prepare material samples for R&D and Quality teams following established sampling protocols and procedures.
• Execute pre-manufacturing and co-manufacturing sample processes, ensuring proper identification, labeling, and traceability.
• Maintain accurate sample documentation and chain of custody records using RF scanners and inventory management systems.
• Coordinate with R&D and Quality teams to ensure timely sample collection and delivery to meet testing schedules.
• Process and prepare small parcel shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc.) including proper packaging, labeling, and carrier system entry.
• Support warehouse operations by moving materials and inventory as needed for manufacturing and storage operations.
• Maintain GMP's and complete functions on the sanitation schedule.
• Operate forklifts in a safe and efficient manner for material handling and sample collection activities.
• Proper handling of Allergen products and equipment according to Allergen Control Procedures.
• Responsible for conformance to Food Safety and Food Quality Plans as described in the Kerry Clark SQF Systems manual. Must report all deviations to a member of management and QA- and set product aside until further instructed.
• Other duties assigned by Management and roll will cover core material handler duties in warehouse as and when required.
Minimum Requirements:
High school or equivalent. Knowledge and experience to operate a forklift. Ability to read and write in English. Ability to see to read labels and identify materials for sampling. Ability to perform basic math computations. Basic computer skills including shipping systems and sample tracking software. Must have good communication skills both written and verbal to coordinate with R&D and Quality teams. Attention to detail for accurate sample collection and documentation.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs - Must be able to walk throughout the warehouse / plant and sit to operate a forklift.
Working Environment: Factory environment with exposure to flavor and basic product chemicals and raw materials. Warehouse and manufacturing environment is typically ambient with variations of climate based on time of year.
The pay range for this position is $22.07 - $29.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
