We are currently seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to join our Lumber and Sheet Goods Department. This is a physically demanding role requiring the handling and movement of large panels, lumber and similar materials. The successful candidate will work efficiently, safely, and accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This is a physically demanding role requiring the handling and movement of large panels, lumber and similar materials. The successful candidate will work efficiently, safely, and accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned as needed):
- Provide superior customer service while retrieving and preparing orders.
- Pick, move, and handle large sheet goods and lumber products.
- Build orders and stage materials for shipment.
- Assist truck drivers with loading building materials for delivery.
- Safely unload incoming products from transport trucks.
- Operate forklifts (following training and certification).
- Use WMS and RF scanners for inventory and order processing.
- Handle materials properly to minimize damage and ensure quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Current Forklift Certification.
- Good knowledge of safe working procedures.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast paced, demanding work environment.
- Professional, courteous, and punctual with a focus on customer service.
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years previous warehouse work experience.
- Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
- Dependable and reliable.
- RF Scanner and WMS software experience preferred.
- Experience and knowledge in building materials.
- Frequent handling of large panels
- Constant standing, walking, and movement
- Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.; occasional lifting to 100 lbs. (team lift)
- Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and squatting
- Repetitive reaching, gripping, and carrying materials
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
