Our client is a rapidly growing organization within the manufacturing space with multiple locations in the lower mainland area. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the warehouse operations at the Vancouver warehouse and one more location in the lower mainland.<\/span>

As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse in Vancouver. You will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse is running efficiently, effectively and safely. You will also be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time.<\/span>

Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/u><\/b>

<\/p>

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of warehouse associates.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the warehouse is operating efficiently, effectively and safely.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure inventory levels are accurate and meet customer demands.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure orders are processed and shipped accurately and on time.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure smooth operations across the organization.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.<\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • 3+ years of experience in warehouse management or a related field.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong leadership and management skills.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory management.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work in a fast -paced environment.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.<\/span>
